One of the most important projects of Turkish Textile Employers' Association has come to life in professional training area, with the completion of METEM schools, the Textile Education Center built in Çerkezköy.

Çerkezköy METEM, which will train qualified workers and managers for the textile sector will start education during the 2007-2008 school year. The other METEM schools in Kayseri and Adana are currently under construction.

Turkish Textile Foundation, founded by Turkish Textile Employers' Association in 1991, has made many contributions to the sector by facilitating professional education, setting professional standards and now building schools for the industry. Protocol for Professional and Technical Education Centers (METEM) was signed among Turkish Textile Employers' Association, Turkish Textile Foundation and Ministry of Education on March 23th, 2005. Protocol consisted of preparing curriculum and organizing training for the textile sector and its administrative activities.
