EURATEX represents the European Textile and Apparel industry and works to create a platform that facilitates the manufacturing of textile and apparel in the European Union.
The headquarters of EURATEX are in Brussels, close to the European Union’s chief institutions, namely the European Commission, Parliament and Council. The mission of EURATEX is to protect the rights and benefits of its members by working within the EU’s institutional framework and international responsibilities.
In 2001 Turkish Textile Employers' Association signed a protocol with ITHIB, Istanbul Textile and Raw Material Exporters Association and registered jointly with EURATEX as members.
